Monday, April 23, 2007, CBP to Require Use of ACE Truck Manifest System at New Hampshire, North Dakota and Vermont Ports of Entry:
Washington-Effective July 12, truck carriers entering the United States through land border ports in Vermont and New Hampshire and at the ports of St. John, Fortuna, Ambrose, Carbury, Noonan, Dunseith, Sherwood, Antler, Northgate, Westhope and Portal in the state of North Dakota will be required to transmit electronic manifests through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).

Thursday, April 19, 2007, U.S. Now Requiring Truck Drivers to File Electronic Manifests at All Southern Land Border Ports:
Washington-Beginning today, all truck carriers are required to electronically submit manifests detailing cargo and carrier information to U.S. Customs and Border Protection prior to arrival at any southern U.S. land border ports of entry. By allowing the truck carrier to begin import procedures in advance, drivers may shorten administrative time at the border, potentially leading to expedited border crossings for the approximately 21,000 trucks that cross the southern U.S. border each day.

Tuesday, April 17, 2007, Electronic Manifest Filing Becomes Mandatory in California, New Mexico and Texas:
Washington-Effective April 19, truck carriers entering the United States through all land border ports of entry in California, New Mexico, and Texas will be required to transmit advance electronic truck cargo information or e-manifest through U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s truck manifest system. This expansion means that e-manifest will be required at all southern land border ports.

Otay Mesa, Calif. - Effective April 19, U.S. Customs and Border Protection will require truck carriers entering the United States through all California land border commercial ports of entry to file electronic truck manifests through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) truck manifest system.

Friday, February 23, 2007, ACE Mandated for E-manifest Filing at Border Ports in Michigan and New York:
Washington, DC - Effective May 24, truck carriers entering the United States through land border ports of entry in the states of Michigan and New York will be required to provide advance cargo information by filing electronic manifests through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) Truck Manifest System. This is the third group of ports to be required to use ACE for the filing of e-manifest.

Thursday, January 25, 2007, Mandatory e-Manifest Filings Set to Begin in Washington, Arizona, North Dakota:
Washington, D.C. — Effective today, truck carriers entering the United States through all ports of entry in the states of Washington and Arizona, as well as the North Dakota ports of Pembina, Neche, Walhalla, Maida, Hannah, Sarles and Hansboro will be required to file electronic manifests through the Automated Commercial Environment (ACE).

Wednesday, January 24, 2007, Electronic Truck Manifest Filings are Up:
Washington, D.C. —Truck carriers filed more than 20,000 electronic manifest with U.S. Customs and Border Protection in December, a 65 percent increase from the nearly 13,000 e-manifest filed in September. More than 100,000 e-manifests have been filed since the first e-manifest was submitted in 2005.
